1. What do I need to bring?
Swim caps will be provided. You need:
Swimsuit
Towel
Goggles
Bike
ANSI-approved helmet
Biking and running clothes
Water bottle on the bike, if possible

2. How do I register?

3. What kind of bike can I ride?
All bikes are allowed, as long as they are in safe, working condition.

4. What if I cannot attend the Practice and Informational Meeting?
If you can’t attend, call 952-229-7229 (Plymouth) or 630-393-2600 x314 (Warrenville) to make other arrangements.

5. Will there be chip timing?
Yes, we will be using JMS Racing for chip timing. You will be able to view final times and splits following the race.

6. Will there be race photos?
Professional photos will be available from ASI.

7. Will there be prizes?
Awards will be given, and every participant gets a specially designed t-shirt.

8. Will you accept late registrations?
No, all registrations must be postmarked by September 6, 2008.

9. Do I have to personally pick up my race packet?
No, team members, friends or family may also pick up your packet.

10. What do I need for the transition area between events?
Most participants need a towel, t-shirt, water bottle, socks, shoes and bike helmet. We will have plenty of volunteers to help.

11. Can I wear a swim vest? Will there be lifeguards?
Yes, swim vests are allowed. Arm floats and other floatation devices are not allowed. There will be lifeguards on duty.

12. How deep is the pool?
Plymouth: The lap pool is 25 yards long, and is 7 ½ feet at the deepest portion.
Warrenville: The lap pool is 25 meters long, and 4.5 feet at the deepest portion.

13. Will there be traffic on the route?
No. The race takes place on paved roads or paths around Life Time Fitness. There will be volunteers and officials spread along the course to help keep it safe and sound.

14. What happens at the end of the event?
