Mixed Martial Arts
Mixed Martial Arts, commonly known as MMA, is a combat sport that incorporates a wide variety of techniques and skills by combining the arts of Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu. MMA Fighters need to be strong as well as highly conditioned. Fighters train to develop explosive movement and conditioning to last round after round. If you want to become lean and muscular while you train your body like a real fighter, you want to take MMA classes.

Boxing packs a serious punch and delivers an incredible workout. It’s one of the best ways to get fit and one of the toughest fitness programs out there. Boxing classes offer you an athletic workout that gives you the opportunity to take out your aggression on a 120-pound heavy bag, relieve stress and learn some effective self-defense techniques. Every single muscle in your body is pushed to the limit during a boxing workout, so you will burn fat and create lean muscle, resulting in a leaner, more toned physique.
Boxing Conditioning Classes
We pack the most basic and effective set of punches into the class and combine it with footwork, drills and overall conditioning. Boxing Conditioning Classes keep your heart rate and metabolism up long after the workout is over, resulting in less absorption of calories as fat and less weight gain.

Muay Thai is Thailand’s national sport. It uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. Often referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” or the “Science of Eight Limbs,” Muay Thai makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight points of contact, as opposed to two points (fists) in boxing and four points (hands and feet) in sport-oriented martial arts. It’s a form of unarmed combat that is appropriate for everyone, including children. Muay Thai is famous for its incredible conditioning.

Most real-world confrontations don’t take place standing up, so Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling classes take place almost entirely on the ground. Unlike boxing, they don’t rely on brute strength. Part of the appeal is that smaller men and women can triumph over heavyweights. These arts will enhance your coordination, balance, flexibility and total body conditioning.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is more than a martial art, it’s a way of life that promotes physical fitness, building character and going beyond the traditional arts. Jiu-Jitsu focuses on grappling and ground fighting. We teach how to defend completely against a bigger, stronger person by using leverage and proper technique, most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person.
Submission Grappling focuses on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission using submission holds. Fusing the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Folk Wrestling, Sambo and Judo, this class focuses on transitions from your stand-up to your ground game by using leverage and technique to control your opponent. And it’s a great workout.
